Singular Effects of psychoanalysis
This book is a collection of the conference transcripts of the first event of the VPS (Viennese Psychoanalytic Seminar). The VPS is an invention of Jacques-Alain Miller, through which he established a connection between the New Lacanian Field Austria – now New Lacanian Field Austria – Initiative Vienna and the Freudian Field. Gil Caroz and Avi Rybnicki were installed by Jacques-Alain Miller as the responsible persons for the VPS. In this book one finds different conferences: After Avi Rybnicki’s introductory words there is a conference of Lilia Mahjoub with the title Psychoanalytical ethics and contemporary clinical problems. It is followed by a conference of Yves Vanderveken on Ordinary Psychosis as well as a commentary by Norbert Leber and Shlomo Lieber. Avi Rybnicki continues with a conference on Ordinary Psychosis and the orientation of the cure – a psychoanalytical response to contemporary clinical problems and in the end of the book you find a discussion between Lilia Mahjoub and Yves Vanderveken.

Ce livre est un recueil des transcriptions des conférences du premier événement du VPS (Séminaire Psychanalytique Viennois). Le VPS est une invention de Jacques-Alain Miller, à travers laquelle il a établi une connexion entre le Nouveau Champ Lacanien Autriche – aujourd’hui Nouveau Champ Lacanien Autriche – Initiative Vienne et le Champ freudien. Gil Caroz et Avi Rybnicki ont été installés par Jacques-Alain Miller comme responsables du VPS. Dans ce livre on trouve différentes conférences : Après les mots introductifs d’Avi Rybnicki il y a une conférence de Lilia Mahjoub avec le titre Éthique psychanalytique et problèmes cliniques contemporains. Elle est suivie d’une conférence d’Yves Vanderveken sur la psychose ordinaire ainsi que d’un commentaire de Norbert Leber et Shlomo Lieber. Avi Rybnicki poursuit avec une conférence sur la Psychose ordinaire et l’orientation de la cure – une réponse psychanalytique aux problèmes cliniques contemporains et en fin d’ouvrage on retrouve une discussion entre Lilia Mahjoub et Yves Vanderveken.
